A GAME OF PATIENCE
This painting depicts a scene of two men sitting at a table. The man in the foreground is lighting a cigarette and this action is clearly the focal point of the composition. The man's size has been exagerated to show that he is a man of importance and great moment. His age shows wisdom and that perhaps he now has time to relax. This scene represents, in part, that confusion of great and intelligent people, larger than life, doing something no longer considered wise or as acceptable as it once had been.
The painting measures 24x30 inches and is oil paint on stretched canvas. The painting has been protected with a coating of Damar Varnish.
The painting will ship stretched on its frame and in a box.
